Does it happen in just one day?
Or do they take weeks to calculate and announce the winner?

Tuesday evening after 8 pm.
6pm or 8pm. It can take as long as necessary.
Tuesday, Nov 4th is the last day for voting in the US. The results are tallied immediately after each state closes (most of them 8PM), and the process goes for hours, with each district calculating their own results. Once it has been deemed “highly probable” that a state has voted Dem or Rep that state will be filled in on the electoral map along with it’s EC #.
It already over, Obama won!
Tuesday night.
GET OUT AND VOTE!
Obama/Biden ‘08!
After the polls close on the Left Coast er California & Hawaii.Of course all the networks will be playing who’s in the oval office all night.
Usually before the polls close the media makes their predictions. The media (which is mostly run by democrats) are pushing for Obama to win.
I’m seriously thinking about moving to the great white north if he’s elected.
The Republicans giveth, the Democrats taketh away.
But it really doesn’t matter because the electoral college will make the final selection.
The results start coming in almost immediately after the polls have closed, so we should begin hearing results for eastern states at 8PM EST and at 8PM PST for western states… If all goes smooth, the winner may be announced on Tuesday night, but it could take another day or so.
I just want to add…..the republicans take away everything, the democrats want change and give the poor and middle class more of a fighting chance in this nation!…..and are more opened minded! Who wants a War Minded old man?? Not I. We will just have to see the outcome tomorrow! GO OBAMA ‘08! (and if not Obama…I can settle for independent and the other parties)
